Knowledge Circuit Assessment

Knowledge Circuit™ assesses what workers don’t know
and tutors them until they master it.

Protect your company against the hazards of misinformed workers.
In a standard performance assessment, an employee might pass by answering 80% of the questions correctly. But what if he believes that his answers were “correct” on the few life-endangering questions that he missed? His confidence that he is correct when he is actually incorrect poses a serious danger when dealing with electrical hazards. Misinformed workers can lead to bad on-the-job decisions, which may result in equipment damage, injuries – or even a fatality that can cost a company millions of dollars in damages, not to mention a severely damaged reputation.

Knowledge Circuit™ is an advanced assessment based on Accelerated Memory Protocol™(AMP), a patented learning methodology that increases knowledge retention and long-term memory. After completing an NTT classroom or online course, employees take the Knowledge Circuit assessment to uncover knowledge gaps (information they missed in training). But this is much more than a simple assessment. It actually tutors them by providing answers to missed questions and then retesting them on those questions until they have successfully mastered the material. This process reduces the inconvenience of conducting assessments and then scheduling separate remediation training -- Knowledge Circuit does it all at once!

Knowledge Circuit™ ensures they learn the right information

  • It measures whether the desired knowledge has been mastered
  • It determines whether knowledge has been mastered in such a way that it can be applied appropriately on-the-job
  • It determines whether the learner’s confidence level in his or her mastery is sufficient to boost retention of the knowledge gained. Studies show that the more confident a learner is in the knowledge acquired, the more likely that knowledge will be retained long-term.

Knowledge Circuit™ patented methodology

  • Questions: Students answer questions to stimulate their engagement in learning about the topic at-hand.
  • Confidence Level: For each question, students also indicate how certain they are about their answers. This engages learners intellectually and emotionally, which increases long-term memory retention.
  • Immediate Feedback: After each question, students find out whether or not their answer was correct which keeps them engaged. At the end of a question set, they review correct answers to prepare for the next question set.
  • Learning Loop: After reviewing answers to missed questions, students start a new question set that re-tests them on missed questions until they master them. This learning process aids learning and long-term knowledge retention.
